Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha

Mrs. Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha was Born on the 8th of August, 1961, hails from Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, she was born and brought up in Maiduguri, the State Capital of Borno State. She started her Primary School and obtained her Primary School Certificate in 1974. She attended Government Girls’ Secondary School, Maiduguri from 1974 to 1979 where she obtained her West African School Certificate.

Mrs. Hadizatu Mustapha gained admission into the University of Maiduguri where she studied Law and obtained Bachelors of Law Degree (LL.B) in the year 1984, she then went to Nigerian Law School in Victoria Island Lagos where she obtained her Barrister in Law (B.L) in the year 1985 and did her Youth Service in Kano State.

Until her appointment as the Chief Registrar Supreme Court of Nigeria, Mrs. Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha served in various capacity which gave her vast working experience. She served the Ministry of Justice in Borno State from 1987 to year 2000, The Chief Enterprise Officer, Bureau of Public Enterprises, Abuja from 2000 to 2004 and she went back to Ministry of Justice Borno State from 2004 – 2005.

Mrs. Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha was appointed as Senior Special Assistant to His Excellency the Governor of Borno State from 2005 to 2006, she was later appointed as The Director Legal Services Borno State Independent Electoral Commission in year 2007. She was appointed the General Manager Maiduguri International Hotel from 2007 to 2011. She was transferred to Federal Capital Judiciary and was absorbed into the Sharia Court of Appeal as the Deputy Chief Registrar (Procurement) from 2011 to May 2017.

Mrs Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha is happily married and blessed with Children.
